Healthy School Lunches Made Easy

As a mom, making school lunches every morning day after day can sometimes feel like a total chore. It can be hard to come up with different combinations, and we can often get into a rut of peanut butter and jellies every day.

Well, tired Mama, I am here to tell you that by following this simple formula, you can now put school lunches on autopilot and keep both yourself and your kids excited about healthy lunches.

You want your kids to eat a well-rounded lunch that includes a good mixture of nutrients that will nourish their bodies and keep them full. A good rule to follow is to include one of the following in each meal. A protein, vegetable, a nut or seed, a fruit, and something crunchy, because well, all kids love a good crunchy cracker or chip!

Here is a week's worth of school lunch ideas to revamp your lunch slump.

If you need a new lunchbox, my absolute favorite is Planet Boxes Rover tray. It comes with five different individualized areas to make lunches more like a snack box which, let's be honest, most kids prefer snack-like foods over a basic lunch.
